Mila Kunis stars in Black Swan; reveals she almost quit acting!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore

In a recent interview, Black Swan star Mila Kunis revealed that she almost quit acting after her hit TV show "That 70s Show" wrapped up in 2006.

According to Showbiz Spy:
“I was like, ‘Alright, this has been a god run, but I’m done’. I wanted to rethink my life for a minute because I didn’t think acting could be a career. This is the worst industry you can put yourself in because there’s no security whatsoever. I mean, none,” she said.
“The whole thing is based so much on opinion and nobody is wrong. That person can think I’m great, that person can think I suck, and they’re both right. I was like, ‘Can I really do this for the rest of my life?’
“What a lot of people don’t realize is that you make more money in TV than you will in film; it’s a very steady salary. An obscene amount of money gets given to you for, like… what? So I was 20, and I looked at my bank account and realized  that I was secure for the rest of my life. I was like, ‘I’m okay. I can go do other things now’.
Thank God, Mila decided to stay on! Watch her co-star in Black Swan with Natalie Portman.

Stonehenge to get a Multimillion Makeover

http://www.flickr.com/photos/qalli

Stonehenge, one of the most famous ancient landmarks in the world, will be undergoing a major restoration in an effort to save this World Heritage site in London.

According to The Chicago Tribune:
Stonehenge is getting a multimillion-pound (-dollar) grant that conservators say will help restore some dignity to a World Heritage site blighted by busy roads and cramped facilities.
English Heritage said Friday that it now has about two-thirds of the money it needs to revamp the area around the prehistoric circle of stones, although the group acknowledged the improvements probably wouldn't come in time for the 2012 Olympic Games, when hordes of tourists are expected to descend on the site.

Police denied misconduct and filed charges saying Knox’s comments were slanderous.

Lindsay Lohan wants to open her very own Rehab clinic

Dina Lohan has revealed that daughter Lindsay Lohan wants to open her own Rehab Clinic to help out troubled teens like her. Lindsay was inspired by her experience at the Betty Ford Clinic where she is undergoing rehabilitation for substance abuse.

According to Canada.com:
Lohan, 24, is currently being treated at the center in southern California, famed for treating stars, in what is her fifth stint in rehab in three years. She was ordered by a judge last month back to the drug and alcohol rehab until January, after failing a random drug test.
Her mother, Dina Lohan, told the Today show on Monday that she hoped the rehabilitation this time will be different.
"We take it one day at a time, addiction is difficult. I don't know, I don't have a crystal ball. I pray hard and I hope she will be able -- she wants to start her own facilities, help other children. She is so public that I think we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families."

Want to add the Queen on Facebook?

http://www.flickr.com/photos/rachelicha

Queen Elizabeth II is becoming tech savvy by joining the world's biggest social network, Facebook, but sorry you can't add her as a friend, her account being corporate and not personal.

According to GMA News TV:
Britain's queen has launched a series of official pages offering the website's 500 million users daily updates on her engagements, the royal household said Sunday.

The 84-year-old British monarch will be featured in videos, photos and news items on the site, which will be available starting Monday, alongside other members of the country's royal family, including Princes William and Harry.

Users will be able leave messages or comments for Buckingham Palace on the site and find details of royal events close to their homes.

However, because the pages will be corporate — and not a personal account — people won't be able to request to become friends with the queen.

A royal official said the queen had personally approved the plan, but acknowledged she has not actually used the site herself.
The page went up Monday, November 8 2010. You can check it here.
