Adolf Hitler may have been Jewish?!!!

A recent test on Adolf Hitler's DNA has revealed that the German Nazi dictator has Jewish and African roots!

According to Thirdage.com:

dolf Hitler DNA samples suggest that the dictator of Nazi Germany had both Jewish and African roots.

The tests were conducted by Jean-Paul Mulders, a Belgian journalist, and Marc Vermeeren, a historian, Telegraph reported. The pair tracked down 39 of Hitler’s living relatives throughout Europe and America to obtain saliva samples which ultimately suggest African and Jewish ancestry.

Based on reports by NewYorkDailyNews.com, the Haplopgroup E1b1b (Y-DNA) chromosome found in the samples is rarely found in Western Europeans.

Instead, “it is most commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco, in Algeria, Libya and Tunisia as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews,” Vermeeren said in Knack, the Belgium magazine in which the findings were published.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/alan-light/

Troubled actor-director Mel Gibson was in a car mishap in Malibu recently. Apparently, Mel lost control of his Maserati and crashed into the rocky hillside but he was unharmed.

According to Yahoo News:

The accident late Sunday west of Los Angeles involved no other vehicle and the Oscar-winning actor was neither drunk nor under the influence of drugs at the wheel (DUI), the police said in a statement.
"For unknown reasons, Mr Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside," the CHP said, adding that after making a statement to police officers at the scene, he "received a ride home from a friend."
"His vehicle was towed from the scene, DUI is not suspected in the accident," it added.
The road accident follows a troubled few weeks for the Australia-educated actor, who is under investigation for domestic violence after his former partner Oksana Grigorieva released recordings of abusive telephone calls he allegedly made.

rip torn denied probation for bank break-in

Rip Torn, Emmy Award-winning actor and seen recently as Zed in the Men In Black franchise, was denied probation request by a Judge in Connecticut for breaking into a bank and branding a weapon in January of this year.

According to Yahoo News:

Torn has pleaded not guilty to trespassing, carrying a weapon while intoxicated, carrying a weapon without a permit and criminal mischief.
Litchfield Superior Court Judge James Ginocchio ruled the charges are too serious to qualify for a program called accelerated rehabilitation, especially since Torn was still in a court-ordered alcohol education program from a drunken driving charge — later dismissed — at the time of the alleged bank break-in.
The accelerated rehabilitation program for first-time, nonviolent offenses would have cleared his record after he completed probation.
"There's some indication here that even when supervised, alcohol is still a problem," Litchfield State's Attorney David Shepack said as Torn, who did not speak, sat quietly with his attorney in the mostly empty courtroom.
