As Transformers 3 begins filming in Milwaukee, thousands came to audition as extras for the hit movie.

According to Fox6now.com:

Thousands turned-out Saturday for their shot at a trip to tinsel-town. Movie producers were casting male and female trendy executive types as extras for scenes that will be shot in Milwaukee. The scenes are set to be shot the week of July 12th at two Milwaukee locations.

Transformers 3 will be in 3D!

According to i4u.com:

Decepticons and autobots will jump out of the screen like never before in the next installment to the Transformers movie series. Director Michael Bay has confirmed that it will be in 3D.

Bay had previously been a skeptic of 3D, claiming his movies were too sophisticated to allow for 3D rendering. 

But that's where the money is, Mr. Bay, and he is learning that. Transformers 3, which is set to be more drama and less comedy, and will get rid of the eye candy of Megan Fox, hasn't been given a release date yet.
